Language Arts homework will be assigned every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening. Assignments will generally consist of reading or writing tasks that reinforce concepts learned in class. Students will be expected to participate in an independent reading program. Books of all levels and interests will be available in our classroom and the school library. Students will be able to check out books on an ongoing basis. We provide after school skills classes on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 for students who need to make up work or require additional assistance.

Mrs. Moe
As we study the ancient cultures in Social Studies, most of the assignments done in class or as homework will eventually be entered into the required spiral notebook. It will contain a table of contents listing all assignments and credits or grades as they are earned. It is essential to have this notebook and supplies at school daily. In general, homework is assigned Monday through Thursday and due the following day to be used in class. As the year progresses, there will be extra oral and written projects assigned. |

This year in Science we will be covering various topics related to the Earth. Throughout the year, you will receive homework. This will include a science fair project. Should you need help, I am available most days during lunch and after school. While in class, you will be engaged in reading, writing, and hands-on activities. Due to limited resources, I may from time to time request that you bring simple household items for these activities.
