Backcountry Internet Dig

Backcountry Explorers Dig: . . . . Tue, Nov 5, 6:55AM PST (-0800 GMT)
Welcome to the Modoc Indian War Dig – November is Native American History month and as historical researchers, our Campers need to look at all sides of the California First People’s History. ……. One of the hardest sides of the story to understand is the violence against the original inhabitants of this land, but it did happen, and we will explore why it happened, and what changes it lead to in improving American Indian policies. It is important to learn from history so mistakes are not repeated, and the Modoc Indian War is just such an example.
