This is the vegmap91 coverage edited to 1994 USGS DOQQ data for San Miguel Island, and modified for vertebrate habitat analysis.The classification used in vegmap91 has been retained.
Purpose:
Edit the vegetation polygons from the vegmap91 dataset to visible physical features, and adjust the polygons to be representative of island fox habitat types. Representation of vegetation communities on San Miguel Island in 1994.
