[CINC] One of the Eagle eggs has hatched...

All, At least one Bald Eagle chick has hatched in the nest on SCI at Prisoner's! I looked two days ago and saw two eggs as the adult was walking around the nest perimeter. Yesterday afternoon when I looked, I saw the adult standing picking at something on the edge of the nest. Then I saw a little head pop up out of the nest! I assume the adult was picking at food. I couldn't see the other egg nor another chick, but I'll keep looking. Things should more visually interesting over the next 12 weeks as the eaglet prepares to fledge.
