Hi Keith,
There are a number of educational resources available for teachers and
their students on our Web site at http://sanctuaries.noaa.gov/education.
Also, our Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary encompasses Santa Cruz
and we even have an office in Santa Cruz for the Monterey Bay sanctuary.
I would encourage the teacher to connect with Dawn Hayes, Education
Coordinator <dawn.hayes at noaa.gov> and Michele Roest, Education and
Outreach Specialist <michele.roest at noaa.gov> to find out more about
educational opportunities and resources in the Monterey Bay National
Marine Sanctuary (our country's largest national marine sanctuary).
Please let me know if you would like any additional information.
Cheers, Claire
