[CINC] Condor Express 09/10

18 passengers enjoyed concierge service from Bill Strongly and myself aboard
the Condor. We had definite recorded sightings of 6 Blues with numerous
other blows in the region of the west end of SCI. We spotted 1 Minke about
10 min. out of the harbor and enjoyed 2 sightings of commons on our return
home from painted cave. It was a great day!!!

 

One Blue had a greenish-yellowish algae like coloration on his dorsal and
ventral rear area? Is this significant for ID purposes and does anyone know
what this coloration might be???  Please only respond if this is OK with
