I captured good series of photos of the Island Fox with missing ear.
Missing ear did not seem to be infected and animal was happily forging
for food on the valley floor. The injury appears to be healed with no
visible blood. Fox appears to be a female (no boy parts). If you would
like copies of the high-res photos please contact me.

 

Island hike to Cavern Point was great with good weather and visitors
from Chicago, Mexico, and Seattle. New visitor center on Scorpion looks
great.
