The California Department of Boating and Waterways and the California 
Coastal Commission’s Boating Clean & Green Program, the California Department of 
Fish and Game, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the University of California 
Cooperative Extension – Sea Grant Extension Program, NOAA Channel Islands 
National Marine Sanctuary, and the City of Santa Barbara invite you to 
participate in a FREE Invasive Aquatic Species Workshop 
FOR: 
ü      Boaters 
ü      Fishermen 
ü      Marina and Yacht Club Operators 
ü      State and Local Officials, and 
ü      Interested Parties 
LEARN HOW TO: 
ü      Protect the quality of recreation and aquatic ecosystems 
ü      Identify aquatic invasive species  
ü      Understand their economic costs and operational impacts 
ü      Inspecting watercrafts and fishing gear help to prevent the spread 
of invasive species in California waterways.
