[CINC] Channel Islands Live Dive '09

Greetings All,
 
Tuesday 5/26/09 was the kickoff to the season's Channel Islands Live Dive 
from Anacapa Island.  This happens every year from the first Tuesday after 
Memorial Day through the last Thursday before Labor Day.
 
During the past two weeks hundreds of kids visited Anacapa Island and the 
CINP Visitor Center, including two school groups that received their Junior 
Ranger badges.  Activity stations were set up at the VC on Live Dive days 
5/27, 5/28, 6/3, and 6/4.  Hats off to all involved.
 
Check out the Live Dive at the CINP VC 2:00pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and 
Thursdays through September 3.
 
{A note on cetacean sightings: Common dolphins were seen on
5/26 and 6/2 AI crossings.}
