[CINC] Presentation on SMI historical archeology 9/21

On Wednesday, October 21, at 3:00, archeologist Julia Costello will discuss
her investigations of several historic sites on San Miguel Island.  Dr.
Costello and her crew (including former park archeologist Don Morris)
located the boundaries of the Nidever adobe, examined its adobe bricks,
searched for the site of the Mills ranch house, and did additional historic
archeological research on the island.  Dr. Costello will talk about the
historical documentation of the island ranches, their archeological
investigations on the island, and how the historical data informed their
island archeological work.  The presentation will be in the park
auditorium.
