What you should have available before performing these setup instructions:
- The Macintosh installation CD-ROM or disks
- A modem configured for Macintosh with no conflicts or errors.
These systems do not include MacTCP (Transmission Control Protocol, the language of the Internet.) You have to obtain that from Apple or it is included in internet startup kits that you can get from a computer dealer. We do recommend that you upgrade
to system 7.5.3 if possible,
for it does include MacTCP plus other Internet connectivity items.
Has to be upgraded to system 7.5.3 in order to connect to the Internet. You can get that upgrade from Apple or from a computer dealer.
