Teaching likes:
Making a difference in a students life, who is being left behind by the system. Making new students feel welcome in a new atmosphere where they might have an equal opportunity. I like working with the Mexican students in particular, to make sure they have an equal opportunity in this new cultural environment. I have always had a (simpatico) rapport with Mexico and Mexican culture since I was very young
Family:
Bachelor. Live on a sailboat in the Harbor. Fifth-generation native Californian on one side. First member of my family to be multilingual in several hundred years (besides English and Spanish, have a rudimentary knowledge of French, Portuguese and Arabic)
